Information about Ravda

Ravda is a sea resort with private hotels and lodgings on the south sea coast some 3 km from Nessebar, 5 km from Sunny Beach and 30 kilometers north of Bourgas. Frequent bus service is available to Sunny Beach, Nessebar and Bourgas.

The village offers sporting facilities, and fine sandy beaches with a life-guard, umbrellas and deckchairs on the beach. Ravda has several beaches, almost reaching Nessebar to the north. The sand is fine and is maintained clean. A range of sea sports is at tourists’ disposal. The lack of industrial facilities in the vicinity means the air is clean.

The Ravda tourist base is concentrated in 15 hotels, holiday houses and private lodgings, comfortably furnished, offering a full value rest at a reasonable price. In the centre of Ravda there is a multifunctional building with a fitness centre, library, post office and health centre. In the summer, there are sporting schools for yachting, water skiing, wind surfing, rowing and swimming. Small restaurants and taverns offer delicious seafood and traditional Bulgarian cuisine in an enticing atmosphere of hospitality.

For many years Ravda was known as a place for youth and student camps but this has changed in the last 5 years and today the resort is becoming a desired family destination. The proximity to Sunny Beach has attracted tens of millions of euros in investment, especially in hotels and apartment houses.
