New Defense Minister Stops Military Property Exchanges


The new defense minister of Bulgaria, Nicolay Tzonev has put a stop on the exchange of properties belonging to the Bulgarian Defense Department. According to the internet site of the Executive Agency “State Property” many exchanges have been planned for the year 2008. They include mainly ground level spaces of residential buildings – mostly store spaces and free military spaces that have not been built up yet such as open plots, military barracks areas and others.

The new minister has ordered check-ups to establish the existent state of all structures owned by the Defense Department.
