Bourgas will have its Own Skyscraper


The first skyscraper in Bourgas will be erected in the Meden Rudnik Quarter, which is located in the southeast part of the Bulgarian Black Sea city.

GM Story, a Bourgas based company is the investor in the project, while the architectural bureau PP Iris 2001 and ISP Digital Management are creating the design.

A special crane, imported from France will be used in the construction of Bourgas’ first skyscraper. The project is expected to be completed by the year 2012.

The building will be 90 meters high with 30 floors and two underground levels.

The first five floors are planed as retail space, spaces for bank branches, a fitness center, a swimming pool. The remaining 25 stories will include 200 apartments with areas between 52 and 210 square meters. The basement levels are going to function as underground parking garages with 120 parking spaces.

In case there are no interested buyers for the apartments, the owners will consider turning them into restaurants or offices.
