The biggest exhibit on water in Bulgaria, Bulgaria Boat Show was held at the seaport of the country's sea capital Varna from June 6 to the 8.
The yacht exhibit presented over 50 new yacht models with 20 of them showcased on the water while and 30 on land on an area of over 2000 square meters.
In the course of three days the visitors of Bulgaria Boat Show will had the opportunity to watch yacht demonstrations and participate in yacht tests.
Bugaria Boat Show 2008 showcased more Azimut yacht then the biggest European exhibits. The yacht Itama 40 will made its European debut in Varna and the luxury Italian yachts Atlantica 78, Azzurra 63 and One 43 that can travel with speeds of over 45 nods per hour were also an absolute novelty. The models Azimut 68S, Atlantis 50, Ferretti 830 and 460, as well Azimut 105 - one of the biggest yachts on the international market sailed for the first time in the Black Sea.
In addition, the exhibit displayed elite automobiles, watches and properties. The agenda included fashion shows and luxury parties.
Bulgaria Boat Show had the goal to advertise and make yachting more popular by presenting the use and the ownership of boats as a modern way for contemporary businessmen to spend family vacations and to relax.
The revenues from yacht sales in Bulgaria only for 2007 were estimated at EUR 40 million EUR and are expected increase by 30% in 2008.
