According to the US daily "USA Today”, Bulgaria is one of the few countries in Europe where Americans still can get a good value summer vacation despite high ticket prices and the strong EUR, ".

According to her, Plovdiv is the cultural capital of the country, "really a place to get a sense of ancient Bulgaria,” while “Varna is essentially a major destination beach resort for all of Western Europe - it has natural hot mineral springs and modern spas with all the amenities and treatments you'd find in other places, but for a lot less, and an excellent Archaeological Museum with a display of intricately made Thracian gold jewelry from the 4th century B.C. and 100,000-year-old stone tools."
