The Bulgarian newspaper Pari (money) recently published a report about the intentions of the Bulgarian company Alpha Finance Holding to build an amusement park in the Pirin mountain resorts of Razlog, near the mountain resort town of Bansko in southwest Bulgaria
The park named “Pirinland” is most likey going to be located on the 1000 decares plot of the former cellulose and paper plant in Razlog, which closed down years ago.
The Pari Daily quoted the Mayor of Razlog Lyuben Tatarski who has stated that the amusement park project was just one of several opportunities for the utilization of the land of the former cellulose factory.
The Alpha Finance holding is currently developing several different design projects for the new amusement park, which is expected to cost about EUR 100 M.
