Bulgaria to Have Nearly 20 New Shopping Malls in Next Two Years


According to several Bulgarian newspapers and real estate agencies, a total of fourteen new shopping malls will open doors in Bulgaria in 2009.

In addition, five or more shopping malls are expected to be completed in 2010 in cities around the country.

In 2009 Bulgaria's capital Sofia will have four new shopping centers - Carrefour, Serdica Center, Mega Mall, and DV South Mall.

Three malls will be opened in the southern city of Plovdiv, and two in the Danube port of Rousse.

The cities of Varna, Stara Zagora, Pleven, Gabrovo and Kazanluk will each have one mall to open in 2009.
